Summary of establishment & development of vinaconex1
Construction Joint Stock Company No.1 (Vinaconex 1) – State-Owned-Enterprize Class 1 (Construction Joint Stock Company No.1 nowadays) is under authority of Vietnam Construction and Import – Export Corporation (Vinaconex JSC.) located at D9 Building, Khuat Duy Tien, Thanh Xuan Bac ward, Thanh Xuan dis., Hanoi.

The Company was founded in 1973 under the initial name of Moc Chau Construction Company under authority of the Ministry of Construction and its duty was to construct the Moc Chau industrial complex, Son La province.
From 1977 till 1981, the company was changed into the new name as Construction Company No.11 under authority of the Ministry of Construction, and located at Xuan Mai, Ha Son Binh province and carried out construction of Xuan Mai Pre-fabricated Concrete Plant and participated in construction of Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant.
At the end of year 1981, being permitted by the Ministry of Construction, the company moved its office to Hanoi and was assigned to construct Big Pre-fabricated Panel Apartment Blocks for residential quarters in Thanh Xuan – Hanoi.
In 1984, pursuant to the Decision No.196/CT by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, the company was renamed into Union of Big Pre-fabricated Panel Apartment Block Construction Enterprises No.1 under authority of the Ministry of Construction and with main assignment of construction of the Capital City Residential Quarters.
In 1993, the company was again renamed into Union of Construction Enterprises No.1 (UCE No.1) under authority of the Ministry of Construction with main assignment of construction of Civil and Industrial Works.
Pursuant to Decision issued by Ministry of Construction dated April 15th 1995, UCE No.1 was incorporated into Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Corporation – Vinaconex JSC. with new name of Vietnam Construction Company No.1 – Vinaconco 1.
Following renovation policy on the State-Owned-Enterprizes dated August 29th 2003, Ministry of Construction issued Decision No.1173/QD-BXD on changing State-Owned-Enterprizes: Construction Company No.1 under authority of Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Corporation was changed into the new name as:
Construction Joint Stock Company No.1 - (Vinaconex1)
Construction Joint Stock Company No.1 (VINACONEX1) has 49% of its own share-holdings and 51% of State share-holdings. Thus, Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Corporation is a legal representative and Construction Joint Stock Company No.1 (Vinaconex No.1) is a member of Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Corporation (VINACONEX. JSC nowadays).
Achievements

Cách đây vừa tròn 40 năm, ngày 16 tháng 11 năm 1973 Công ty xây dựng Mộc Châu tiền thân của Công ty cổ phần xây dựng số 1- VINACONEX đã được Bộ xây dựng thành lập để thực hiện nhiệm vụ xây dựng các công trình hạ tầng kỹ thuật phục vụ cho việc phát triển khu kinh tế Mộc Châu. XEM TIẾP
Với những thành tựu đã đạt được qua 45 năm xây dựng và phát triển và trong 30 năm là thành viên trong đại gia đình VINA-CONEX, tập thể Lãnh đạo, người lao động thực hiện nhiệm vụ xây dựng các công trình hạ tầng kỹ thuật phục vụ cho việc phát triển khu kinh tế Mộc Châu theo chủ trương đường lối của Đảng và Nhà nước trong việc phát triển kinh tế vùng Tây Bắc của đất nước.
